Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Radiant Innovation Studio website and the purchase of digital design services from Radiant Innovation LLC (“Studio,” “we,” “us”). By requesting a quote, placing an order, or paying for a package, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of services

We provide digital design services for self-publishers, authors, and brands, including but not limited to:

Amazon KDP cover design (eBook, paperback, hardcover, ACX where specified)
Interior formatting and full book design
Illustration and children’s book artwork
Low- and mid-content book design
A+ content and listing creative
Author branding, mockups, trailers, and related launch assets
Web design (landing pages, brand sites, and e-commerce scopes as quoted)

Deliverables, timelines, and included revision rounds are defined by the package description on our Pricing page, a written quote, or both. Services are creative and technical design work; we do not provide legal, tax, or Amazon account management services unless separately agreed in writing.

2. Packages, quotes, and payment

Listed package prices are in U.S. dollars. Custom and publisher projects require a written quote before work begins. Payment is due as stated at checkout or on the invoice. Package purchases may be processed through Stripe. Work typically begins after payment is received (or after the deposit specified in a custom agreement).

3. Revision limits

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds after direction is selected. Unless a quote states otherwise:

Cover Pro — 2 concepts and 3 revision rounds after concept selection
Complete Book — structured revision rounds for cover and interior as described in the package
Author Brand — structured revision rounds across cover, interior, and branding deliverables as described in the package
Custom / web projects — revision limits stated in the quote

A revision round means consolidated feedback on the current deliverable (for example, color, type, layout, or illustration adjustments within the agreed brief). Changes that expand scope — new genre direction, new characters, substantial manuscript rewrites affecting layout, additional page counts, or new trim sizes — are not covered by standard revisions and may require an add-on fee or a new quote. Disputes about whether feedback is in-scope are handled under our Refund Policy and revision policy; unlimited-scope change requests are not included in package pricing.

4. Client content warranties

You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to provide any manuscript, text, images, trademarks, logos, character designs, or other materials you supply. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or publicity rights, and that it complies with Amazon KDP and applicable laws.

You agree to indemnify and hold Radiant Innovation LLC harmless from claims arising from content you supplied or from your use of final files in ways that violate third-party rights or platform policies.

5. Commercial rights transfer on payment

Until full payment is received, all concepts, drafts, and working files remain the property of Radiant Innovation LLC. Upon full payment, commercial rights to the final agreed deliverables transfer to you for use in publishing, marketing, and selling your book or related brand materials, subject to these Terms.

We retain the right to display anonymized or credited work in our portfolio and marketing unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery (portfolio opt-outs for sensitive titles will be honored where reasonably possible). Source files (editable layered files) are included only when specified in the package or quote.

6. AI-assisted artwork disclosure

We may use AI-assisted generation tools as part of our creative process, always under human art direction, compositing, typography, and quality review. We are transparent about this workflow. Upon request, we can discuss how tools were used on a given project. Clients who require exclusively hand-drawn or photography-only production must state that requirement in writing before work begins so we can scope and price accordingly.

AI assistance does not change the commercial rights transfer described above for final paid deliverables, except where a third-party tool’s license imposes specific usage conditions — in which case we will disclose known material limitations when reasonably aware of them.

7. No guarantee of sales or rankings

We design to professional publishing standards and Amazon’s published technical specifications where applicable. We do not guarantee book sales, bestsellers status, search rankings, advertising performance, review outcomes, or Amazon algorithm results. Marketplace performance depends on many factors outside our control, including pricing, advertising, category competition, and reader reception.

8. Amazon non-affiliation

Amazon, Kindle, and KDP are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. Radiant Innovation Studio is an independent design studio and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. We design assets intended to meet Amazon’s publicly documented requirements; Amazon alone decides whether a file or listing is accepted.

9. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide timely feedback, accurate trim sizes, page counts, and ISBNs (when needed), and to review proofs carefully before approving final files. Delays in feedback may extend delivery timelines. Upload to KDP and final marketplace compliance remain your responsibility unless a separate managed-upload service is agreed in writing.

10. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Radiant Innovation LLC’s total liability arising from any project will not exceed the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages, including lost sales or ranking impacts.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive venue for disputes shall be the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site or purchase of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
